At the Baldi Dental Practice, we are able to carry out teleradiography of the skull. This is a skull x-ray and is used to check and evaluate the bones and profiles of the facial skeleton. It can be used to identify and look deeper into teeth mal occlusions such as reverse or open bites or alterations of the facial profiles. It also helps dentists carry out angle measurements for corrective purposes of any "defects" found. It can be performed from three angles (latero-lateral, postero-anterior and axial), but the most used for cephalometric analysis is the latero-lateral view. It is often done alongside OPG X-rays of the dental arches before any research on the orthodontic side is carried out, both in adult patients and in children or adolescents.
